The HOLO-KROME 69586 is a metric low socket cap screw designed for applications where standard socket cap head height must be minimized without sacrificing clamping strength. Manufactured from alloy steel to material grade 10.9, it delivers high tensile performance in demanding mechanical assemblies. The black oxide finish provides mild corrosion resistance and reduces light reflection. The M12x1.75 coarse thread runs partially threaded along a 100 mm length measured under the head, with a 10 mm hex socket drive and an 8 mm head height. Installation requires a 10 mm hex key. Machinists, millwrights, and mechanical contractors use this fastener in precision fixturing, machine frames, and tooling plates where clearance over the fastener head is restricted.
This low socket cap screw suits metric bolting applications in industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, and structural assemblies where a reduced head profile is necessary. The partially threaded shank provides a smooth bearing surface in the grip zone, which is preferred in shear-loaded joints and close-tolerance bored holes. It conforms to ANSI B1.13M and ISO 4762 standards, making it appropriate for both domestic and internationally specified assemblies. It is sold in multiples of 5, with a package quantity of 1.
Designed as an OEM-style and aftermarket replacement metric socket cap screw for industrial machinery, fabrication equipment, and mechanical assemblies requiring a low-profile M12 coarse-thread fastener conforming to ISO 4762 and ANSI B1.13M specifications.
Installation is performed by machinists, millwrights, or mechanical contractors using a 10 mm hex key or hex socket driver. De-energize, lock out, and tag out any equipment before fastener service. Thread engagement depth should meet standard engineering practice for the material being fastened; do not use in applications where metric fine thread is specified. Apply thread lubricant or threadlocker as required by the assembly specification.
