The HOLO-KROME 08126 is a heavy-duty alloy steel shoulder screw designed for precision mechanical assemblies where a hardened, ground shoulder acts as a bearing, pivot, or guide surface. The shoulder measures 3/4 inch in diameter and 1-1/2 inches in length, providing a smooth, accurate mating surface for bushings, bearings, or sliding components. The 5/8-11 UNC threaded section is 7/8 inch long and fastens securely into tapped holes. The rounded head features a 3/8-inch hex socket drive and measures 1 inch in diameter by 1/2 inch in height. This fastener is installed by machinists, millwrights, and maintenance technicians in industrial, OEM, and tooling applications.
This shoulder screw is suited for jigs, fixtures, dies, and mechanical linkages where a precise, load-bearing shaft is required within the fastener body. It is also used in conveyor systems, robotic assemblies, and press tooling as a pivot or stop pin. The uncoated alloy steel construction and Grade 8 material rating make it appropriate for high-stress environments where shear load and wear resistance are priorities. Applications span general industrial manufacturing, custom machine building, and maintenance repair operations.
Designed as an OEM-style and replacement shoulder screw for industrial machinery, jigs, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies requiring a 3/4-inch diameter ground shoulder with 5/8-11 UNC threading. Conforms to ASME B18.3 dimensional standards.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians using a 3/8-inch hex key or socket bit driver. Confirm the receiving tapped hole meets 5/8-11 UNC thread specifications per ASME B1.1 before installation. Power down and de-energize all equipment before servicing any assembly containing this fastener. Do not exceed the rated load capacity of the screw or use impact tools that may damage the hex socket or thread engagement.
