It facilitates adding or removing piping without disturbing adjacent lines, making it suitable for overhead insulated pipe installations. The assembly includes clamp halves with welded fasteners and a locknut, compatible with elastomeric and fiberglass insulation for 1-1/8 inch O.D. pipe with 1/2 inch insulation.
