The HOLDRITE HFPESC3 is a cast-in-place firestop extension sleeve designed for use with 3-inch fire stop sleeves serving metal or plastic pipe. Part of the HydroFlame Pro Series, this sleeve provides a combined water seal, smoke barrier, and fire barrier in a single assembly. The patented telescoping design eliminates field cutting, and integrated locator whiskers help technicians locate buried sleeves after a concrete pour. The threaded safety cap allows non-destructive removal and meets OSHA hole cover requirements. This product is UL listed for water, smoke, and firestop performance and is installed by licensed plumbers and fire protection contractors.
The HFPESC3 is used in cast-in-place concrete floor and wall assemblies where 3-inch metal or plastic pipe penetrations require firestop protection. The 4-inch hollow sleeve accommodates the penetrating pipe and integrates directly with compatible HydroFlame Pro Series firestop sleeve assemblies. It is suited for multifamily residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction where penetration firestopping must meet UL system requirements. Water dam and water module accessories are available separately for applications with added water-tight requirements.
Designed for use with 3-inch fire stop sleeve assemblies in the HydroFlame Pro Series, accommodating metal or plastic pipe penetrations in cast-in-place concrete construction.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or fire protection contractors in accordance with the applicable International Fire Code and project-specific UL listed system requirements. Power down or isolate any adjacent electrical systems before working in the penetration area. Follow the UL listed system installation instructions exactly — do not substitute components or modify sleeve dimensions in the field. Verify sleeve positioning and locator whisker alignment before the concrete pour to ensure accessibility during finishing.
