The HOLDRITE 709-L is a 14-gauge galvanized steel bracket designed for securing toilet, lavatory, and hose bib supply lines to a framing or attachment surface. It features 1-3/8 inch keyed mounting holes that position the centerline approximately 3 inches to 5 inches off the attachment surface, giving installers flexibility in rough-in depth. At 4.25 inches x 3.25 inches x 2 inches, the 709-L is a compact, durable bracket suited for residential and light commercial plumbing rough-in work. Licensed plumbers and pipe-hanger installers are the primary end users for this type of hardware.
The 709-L is designed to work as part of the HOLDRITE PEXRITE system. It pairs directly with the HOLDRITE 701 clamp and the 704 insert to create a complete pipe support assembly during rough-in. Typical applications include toilet rough-ins, lavatory supply connections, and hose bib installations where a rigid, corrosion-resistant bracket is required behind the wall. The galvanized steel construction makes it appropriate for installations in areas with moderate moisture exposure, such as bathrooms and utility spaces.
Compatible with HOLDRITE 100 and 400 series inserts. Designed for use with the HOLDRITE 701 clamp and 704 insert as part of the PEXRITE pipe support system.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber during the rough-in phase, before wall surfaces are closed. Shut off the water supply to the affected lines before mounting or adjusting any pipe support hardware. Fasten the bracket securely to structural framing members in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) guidelines for pipe support spacing. Pair only with the specified HOLDRITE PEXRITE components to maintain system integrity and bracket load ratings.
