The HOLDRITE 111-S is a copper-bonded steel pipe support bracket designed to position 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch water supply pipes within standard 3.5-inch stud-bay walls. The bracket mounts to a vertical vent or waste pipe using a self-locking 4-inch stainless steel band with isolating felt, providing a secure, vibration-dampened attachment point. The 1/2-inch notches allow pipe centerline spacing of 4, 6, or 8 inches, while the 3/4-inch notches support 4-inch or 8-inch centers. Sweat soldering connects the supply pipes directly to the bracket. Licensed plumbers install this bracket during rough-in to set lavatory and fixture supply locations before wall close-up.
The HOLDRITE 111-S is used in residential and light commercial plumbing rough-in applications. It is suited for lavatories, sinks, and similar fixtures where supply stubs must be positioned accurately within a framed wall. The bracket fits inside a standard 3.5-inch wall cavity, making it compatible with typical 2x4 wood-framed construction. The self-locking stainless steel band secures the assembly to an existing vertical drain, waste, or vent pipe without requiring additional fasteners through framing.
Designed as an OEM-style rough-in bracket for residential and light commercial plumbing applications requiring supply pipe positioning within standard 3.5-inch stud-bay walls.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber during the rough-in phase before wall covering is applied. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before beginning work. When soldering the supply pipes to the bracket, heat the pipe rather than the bracket to avoid damaging the copper bonding. Secure the stainless steel band firmly to the vertical vent or waste pipe before soldering to ensure the bracket holds position during the sweat process.
