The HISENSE amo3-27u3t25u is a 27,000 BTU/h multi-zone outdoor heat pump unit designed for ductless and ducted mini-split installations. It operates on 208/230 volts and uses R-454B refrigerant, delivering a SEER2 rating of up to 23 in non-ducted configurations and an HSPF2 of up to 10. The unit connects to between 1 and 3 indoor air handlers, making it suitable for multi-room or multi-zone residential and light commercial conditioning. Cooling capacity ranges from 9,000 to 31,000 BTU/h, and heating capacity ranges from 20,100 to 44,000 BTU/h. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and refrigerant work.
This outdoor condensing unit is engineered for multi-zone mini-split systems in residential and light commercial applications. It supports both fully non-ducted indoor units and ducted air handlers, or a mixed combination of both. The unit operates across a cooling ambient temperature range of 5 to 125 degrees F and a heating range of -13 to 75 degrees F, making it viable in cold-climate installations. Connectable indoor unit capacity ranges from 21,600 to 35,100 BTU/h nominal, giving installers flexibility when sizing zones. Maximum total refrigerant pipe length is 230 feet, with a maximum of 82 feet per individual branch run.
Designed for use as the outdoor unit in multi-zone ductless mini-split systems supporting 1 to 3 indoor air handlers with a combined connectable capacity between 21,600 and 35,100 BTU/h. Compatible indoor units must use R-454B refrigerant and 208/230-volt electrical supply. Consult HISENSE system pairing documentation to confirm approved indoor unit combinations.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding EPA Section 608 certification for handling R-454B refrigerant. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before making any wiring connections to the outdoor unit. Refrigerant line sets require proper flaring or brazing at the liquid connection (1/4 inch) and suction fitting (3/8 inch); follow local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation manual for line set routing and support requirements. Do not exceed the specified maximum pipe lengths or connectable capacity range, as doing so will affect system performance and may void equipment warranties.
