The HILLMAN FASTENERS 48601 is a No. 10 by 2.5-inch bronze ceramic-coated exterior screw designed for deck construction and outdoor fastening applications. The Power Pro Bronze Ceramic coating provides corrosion resistance rated to 2000 hours of salt spray exposure, making it suited for coastal and high-moisture environments. A self-drilling point eliminates the need for a pilot hole in most applications, and the Borefast thread geometry is engineered for fast, consistent pull-down. A knurled shank section beneath the head reduces the risk of surface splitting in wood decking. Drive type is star (six-lobe), which reduces cam-out during installation. Sold in a box of 12 screws.
