Each screw measures 8 inches in length by 5/16 inches in diameter and features a Type 17 cut point for clean wood penetration without pre-drilling in many applications. The bronze ceramic coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, rated at 1500 hours of salt spray exposure, making these lags well-suited for treated lumber, exterior framing, and coastal environments. These lag screws are used in residential and light commercial structural framing, deck construction, ledger board attachment, and other exterior wood-to-wood or wood-to-structural-member connections.
