The HILLMAN FASTENERS 41415 is a large pop-toggle wall anchor designed for secure fastening into hollow walls and ceilings where stud mounting is not possible. Each anchor expands behind the wall surface to distribute load, making it suitable for drywall, plaster, and similar hollow-cavity materials. The kit includes an 8 x 1.5 inch pan combination sheet metal screw and an installation pin per anchor. This product is sold in a 10-pack and is installed by general contractors, finish carpenters, electricians, and plumbers for bracket, fixture, and equipment mounting applications. Required drill size is 5/16 inches.
This anchor is used in residential and light commercial applications where hollow-wall fastening is required. Typical scenarios include mounting junction box brackets, pipe hangers, electrical fixture supports, HVAC duct hangers, or other trade hardware to drywall or plaster surfaces with a material thickness between 0.625 inches and 0.75 inches. The included installation pin simplifies setting the toggle without losing it inside the wall cavity.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment pop-toggle anchor for hollow wall and ceiling surfaces with a finished material thickness of 5/8 inches to 3/4 inches and a 5/16 inch pilot hole.
Install using a power drill or hand drill with a 5/16 inch bit. Ensure the wall cavity is clear of wiring, plumbing, or ductwork before drilling. Insert the anchor using the included installation pin until the toggle expands and seats flush against the back of the wall surface. Tighten the included screw to secure the fixture without overtightening, which can crush the wall material or collapse the toggle.
