The HILLMAN FASTENERS 375300 is a Phillips flat head tapper concrete screw designed for anchoring into masonry, concrete, and block without the need for a separate anchor or plug. Each screw features a Blue Perma-Seal coating for corrosion resistance and ships with an installation bit included. At 3/16 inches in diameter and 1-1/4 inches in length with a 1-inch embedment depth, this fastener delivers an ultimate tension load of 730 lb in 4,000 psi concrete and an ultimate shear load of 1,090 lb in 4,000 psi concrete. The 100-pack format suits contractors and service techs working on volume installations.
This concrete screw is suited for light-to-medium duty fastening applications in residential and commercial construction. Typical uses include securing electrical conduit straps, mechanical equipment brackets, junction boxes, and similar hardware to poured concrete, concrete block, or masonry surfaces. The flat head profile sits flush after installation, making it appropriate where a low-profile finish is required. The included Phillips bit allows immediate use without sourcing additional tooling.
Designed for direct installation into poured concrete, concrete block, and masonry substrates. Requires a pre-drilled pilot hole sized for 3/16-inch tapper concrete screws.
Installation is typically performed by electricians, plumbers, or general contractors working to applicable building codes. Drill a clean pilot hole to the correct depth before driving the screw — an underdepth hole will prevent proper embedment. Use a hammer drill with a carbide-tipped bit rated for masonry when drilling the pilot hole. Clear debris from the hole before driving the fastener to achieve rated load values.
