The HILLMAN FASTENERS 117916 is a self-drilling metal-to-wood roofing screw engineered for fastening steel roofing panels to structural wood substrates. Sized at number 10 by 1.5 inches with a brown powder-coat finish, this screw is built for post frame construction and residential roofing assemblies. The hex washer head (HWH) features a V-neck design that adds structural strength and resists head pop-out under load. Corrosion resistance is delivered through 2.5 mils of powder coating with a chromate sealer applied over a painted head. Each box contains 5 screws and includes a Pro-Stick driver bit.

This screw is designed for use wherever steel roofing sheet must be anchored to wood purlins in post frame and agricultural construction, or to plywood and OSB decking in residential roofing applications. The EPDM rubber gasket is vulcanized directly to a steel washer, forming a watertight seal that holds integrity even when the screw is driven slightly off-angle.
