The HILLMAN FASTENERS 117901 is a 10x1 inch self-drilling metal-to-wood roofing screw engineered for fastening steel roofing panels directly to wood substrates. The EPDM rubber washer is vulcanized to a steel washer, forming a weather-tight seal even when driven at a slight angle. The thread profile transitions from fine to coarse, generating superior holding strength across wood purlin, plywood, and OSB substrates. A corrosion-resistant coating of 2.5 mils of powder with chromate sealer provides enhanced protection over painted heads. A Pro-Stick driver bit is included.
