The HILLMAN FASTENERS 117425 is a 250-piece contractor pack of No. 10 x 1 inch black self-drilling roofing screws designed to fasten steel roofing panels to wood substrates. These are metal-to-wood (WB) screws built for post-frame construction, where steel roofing meets wood purlins, as well as residential applications using plywood or OSB sheathing. Each screw features a Dura Seal coating with 2.5 mils of powder and a chromate sealer for enhanced corrosion resistance over painted heads. The hex washer head (HWH) uses a V-Neck design that adds mechanical strength and prevents heads from backing out over time.

These screws are suited for roofing contractors, framing crews, and general contractors working on post-frame buildings, agricultural structures, and residential roof panel installations. The EDMO rubber washer is vulcanized directly to a steel washer, forming a watertight seal even when a screw is driven at a slight angle. The micro-bit point is engineered to minimize metal shavings that would otherwise embed in the rubber washer and compromise the seal. A Pro-Stick bit is included in each contractor pack for immediate use on the job site.
