The HILLMAN 375665 is a strike hammer drive anchor designed for fastening into concrete substrates. When installed, the anchor is inserted into a pre-drilled pilot hole and the nail is struck with a hammer, causing the anchor body to expand and lock firmly in place. Each anchor is removable using a standard claw hammer, making it suitable for applications where future disassembly may be required. Measuring 1/2 inch in diameter and 3-1/2 inches in length, these anchors are packaged in a 25-count box and weigh 5.625 pounds per box. Concrete contractors, general contractors, and trade professionals handling structural or fixture mounting in concrete will find these anchors a practical fastening solution.
These strike anchors are intended exclusively for concrete applications. Typical use cases include securing wood sills, metal track, conduit straps, equipment bases, and similar fixtures directly to poured concrete slabs, walls, or footings. The 1/2-inch diameter and 3-1/2-inch length make them appropriate for medium-duty fastening tasks in residential and light commercial concrete construction and renovation work.
Designed for use in concrete applications only. Not suitable for brick, block, mortar, or masonry other than poured concrete. Verify pilot hole diameter matches anchor specifications prior to installation.
Installation is performed by drilling a pilot hole of the correct diameter into concrete, inserting the anchor, and striking the nail head with a hammer to expand the anchor body. Always wear appropriate eye protection when driving anchors. Follow applicable building codes and consult local jurisdiction requirements for fastener embedment depth and load ratings before use in structural applications.
