The HEXARMOR 5060-xxxl (12) is an aluminized stick welding glove designed to protect hands from extreme radiant heat, sparks, and molten splash in high-heat welding environments. The glove features a cowhide leather palm for durability and comfort, along with ANSI A2 cut protection across the entire glove surface. A full thumb design and extended gauntlet cuff provide added coverage at the wrist and forearm. This glove is sized XXXL and sold as a single pair. It is intended for installation and use by welders, fabricators, and tradespeople working in metal fabrication, construction, and repair applications.
These gloves are suited for stick welding operations involving stainless steel, structural steel, and common alloys on thick workpieces. Stick welding generates significant heat and spatter, making heavy-duty hand protection a requirement. The aluminized outer surface reflects radiant heat away from the hand. The ANSI A2 cut rating addresses light-cut hazards that arise when handling sheet metal and similar materials before or after welding. Typical users include structural welders, maintenance welders, and fabricators working in commercial and industrial settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use heavy-duty stick welding glove suitable for high-heat welding tasks involving stainless steel, structural steel, and common metal alloys in fabrication, construction, and repair environments.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or degradation of the aluminized surface that could reduce heat protection. These gloves are worn PPE and do not require tools for deployment, but they must be properly sized to maintain dexterity and coverage. Replace immediately if the outer aluminized layer separates or if the leather palm shows significant wear or burn damage. Follow applicable OSHA 1910.138 and ANSI Z49.1 guidelines for hand protection selection in welding operations.
