The HEXARMOR 16-22005 is a full brim, Type 1 hard hat from the XP300 series, designed for general industrial head protection. It meets ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 requirements, guarding against vertical impact and penetration hazards. The full brim extends around the entire hat, helping to shield the face and neck from sun glare and shed water during outdoor work. The ABS shell pairs with a textile impact-absorbing liner and a 4-point ratchet suspension for a secure, adjustable fit across a wide range of head sizes. Adjustable airflow vents allow the wearer to manage comfort in varying work environments. This hat is installed and worn by industrial workers across construction, manufacturing, and site maintenance applications.
The HEXARMOR 16-22005 is suited for industrial job sites where ANSI Z89.1 Type 1 compliance is required. The Class C electrical rating means it provides no dielectric protection, making it appropriate for environments without overhead electrical hazards. The orange solid-color shell offers standard visibility without a high-visibility rating. Side-slot accessory mounting allows compatible face shields, ear muffs, and other accessories to be attached. Compatible replacement suspension is the HexArmor 17-19006. Hat size range covers 6-3/8 to 8, fitting one size with ratchet adjustment.
Compatible replacement suspension: HexArmor part number 17-19006. Designed for use with HexArmor-compatible suspension accessories. Accessory mounting via integrated side-slots accepts standard side-slot compatible attachments.
Hard hat fitting and suspension adjustment should be performed before each use to ensure proper head size and secure fit. Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks, dents, or fraying before donning. Replace the hard hat after any impact event or if the shell shows signs of degradation. Follow applicable OSHA and ANSI Z89.1 guidelines for head protection selection and use on the job site.
