The HESTAN 5682 is a flexible hose designed for gas supply connections in commercial cooking and foodservice equipment. With a 3/8-inch outer diameter and a 12-inch length, this hose provides a manageable reach between fixed gas supply points and the appliance inlet. Both ends are terminated with female fittings, each equipped with a nut and ferrule for a secure, leak-resistant connection. This part is sourced directly from Hestan and is intended for installation by licensed plumbers or qualified commercial kitchen technicians working on Hestan commercial appliances.
This flexible hose is used in commercial foodservice environments where rigid gas piping cannot accommodate direct connections due to spacing, vibration, or serviceability requirements. It fits into Hestan commercial appliance service configurations across a wide range of their product lines, including ranges, broilers, fryers, griddles, and steam equipment. The female-to-female end configuration allows connection between two male-threaded gas fittings in a straight or slightly angled run.
Compatible with the following Hestan commercial appliance service models: HCHXX-SERVICE, HCMXXX-SERVICE, HCMXXX-SERVICE2, HCMXXX-SERVICE3, HCMXXX-SERVICE4, HCMXXX-SERVICE5, HCMXXX-SERVICE6, HFTXXX-SERVICE, HHTXXX-SERVICE, HMBXXX-SERVICE, HMGXX-SERVICE, HPGXX-SERVICE, HSBXXX-SERVICE, HSMXXX-SERVICE, HSMXXX-V1.5-SERVICE, HSPXXX-SERVICE, HSSPXXX-SERVICE, HSSXXX-SERVICE, HSTXXX-SERVICE, HSUPXXX-SERVICE, HSUXXX-SERVICE, HTGXX-SERVICE.
Installation of gas supply hoses on commercial equipment must be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified gas technician in accordance with local codes and IFGC requirements. Shut off the gas supply at the main valve and verify zero pressure before disconnecting or connecting any gas hose. Inspect ferrule seats and threads for damage before assembly, and use an approved thread sealant or PTFE tape rated for gas service on all threaded joints. After installation, perform a leak test using an approved gas leak detection solution before returning the appliance to service.
