The HESTAN 4162 is a straight-through LP gas pressure regulator designed for use in commercial foodservice gas supply systems. It features a 1-inch NPT connection for direct inline installation and is configured specifically for liquid propane (LP) service. This regulator maintains stable downstream gas pressure to ensure consistent burner performance across connected appliances. It is installed by licensed gas technicians and plumbers working on commercial kitchen equipment. The straight-through body design simplifies inline installation without requiring offset fittings or additional adapters.
This regulator is intended for commercial appliance applications where LP gas supply regulation is required at the equipment connection point. It is a factory-authorized replacement part for a wide range of Hestan commercial cooking equipment, including charbroilers, fryers, ranges, and related service units. Proper gas regulation is critical to maintaining manufacturer-specified burner input rates and safe appliance operation in commercial kitchen environments.
Compatible with the following Hestan commercial appliance service families: HCHXX-SERVICE, HFRXXXX-SERVICE, HFTXXX-SERVICE, HHTXXX-SERVICE, HMBXXX-SERVICE, HMGXX-SERVICE, HOPXXX-SERVICE, HPCX-SERVICE, HPGXX-SERVICE, HSBXXX-SERVICE, HSPXXX-SERVICE, HSSPXXX-SERVICE, HSSXXX-SERVICE, HSTXXX-SERVICE, HSUPXXX-SERVICE, HSUXXX-SERVICE, HTGXX-SERVICE, HXO36-SERVICE, HXOP36-SERVICE.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician or journeyman plumber in accordance with local codes and the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC). Shut off the LP gas supply at the source before removing or installing the regulator. Apply appropriate thread sealant rated for LP gas service to all NPT connections and verify for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution before returning the appliance to service. Do not use open flame to check for leaks.
