The HERTEL K015971AS25 is a 1/8-27 NPTF extension pipe tap designed for cutting tapered pipe threads in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish, it provides improved wear resistance and extended tool life in production and maintenance tapping applications. The 5-flute interrupted profile design reduces cutting friction and chip packing, making it well suited for through-hole pipe thread work.
