The HERTEL K008562AS is a straight-flute bottoming tap designed for cutting 5/8-11 UNC internal threads in through-holes and blind holes that require threads close to the bottom. Manufactured from high speed steel with a bright/uncoated finish, this tap is built for general-purpose tapping in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features 4 straight flutes and a Class 3B thread fit with an H3 thread limit, producing tight-tolerance threads suited to precision fastener applications.
