The HERTEL K008195AS is a straight flute bottoming tap designed to cut internal 8-32 UNC threads in through-holes and blind holes where full thread depth near the bottom is required. It features 3 straight flutes, an H3 thread limit for a 2B class of fit, a 0.75 inch thread length, and a 2.125 inch overall length (OAL). The bottoming chamfer - with only 1 to 2 lead threads - allows threading to within a few threads of the bottom of a blind hole.
