The HERTEL GH070048 is a square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machined from M7 high speed steel and finished with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating, it offers improved wear resistance and tool life compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The mill measures 0.75 inches in diameter with a 1.625-inch length of cut, a 0.75-inch shank diameter, and a 3.875-inch overall length. It features two spiral flutes at a 42-degree helix angle for efficient chip evacuation. The centercutting design allows plunge cuts as well as conventional peripheral and slot milling. Installation and use is performed by machinists and CNC operators in job shop, production, and maintenance environments.

This end mill is suited for face milling, profiling, slotting, and plunge operations on milling machines and CNC machining centers.
