The HERTEL GG040024 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in a wide range of metalworking applications. Manufactured from M7 high speed steel with no coating, it features a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, and a 3-1/4 inch overall length. The spiral flute geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Center-cutting capability allows for direct plunge entry into workpiece material.
