The HERTEL G127061C-S is a standard pipe tap designed for cutting NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) threads in metal workpieces. Built from high speed steel with a TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) coating, this tap delivers increased surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. It cuts a 1/8-27 NPTF thread profile with a 0.75-inch thread length, a 0.3125-inch shank diameter, and a 0.234-inch square drive size.
