The HERTEL EF99921263 is a 2-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Ground from high speed steel (HSS) stock and finished with a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, this tool delivers improved surface hardness and wear resistance over uncoated HSS. The cutting diameter is 0.25 inches with a 0.5-inch length of cut, a 0.375-inch shank diameter, and a 2.4375-inch overall length. The 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces heat buildup at the cutting edge. Centercutting capability allows this mill to plunge directly into workpiece material without a pre-drilled entry hole.

This end mill is suited for light to medium milling work on manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills running moderate spindle speeds.
