The HERTEL EF053012 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is manufactured from high speed steel with a TiCN coating that increases surface hardness and extends tool life in abrasive cutting environments. The 3/16 inch cutting diameter and 1/2 inch length of cut make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in tighter work envelopes. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry are standard for conventional milling machine and CNC machining center spindles.
