The HERTEL E8053028 is a double-end, square-profile end mill designed for milling, slotting, and profiling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from M7 high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish, it offers improved surface hardness and wear resistance over uncoated HSS tooling. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces, while the centercutting geometry allows plunge entry into workpiece material. Four spiral flutes provide a balance of chip clearance and edge support suited to general-purpose machining in manual and CNC milling setups.

This end mill is suited for job shops, tool rooms, and production environments where HSS tooling is preferred over carbide for its toughness and regrindability.
