The HERTEL E8031020 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from M7 high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers extended tool life and improved wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The cutter measures 5/16 inch in diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 3/8 inch shank diameter. Overall length is 2-1/2 inches. The 30-degree spiral helix promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on manual mills and CNC machining centers.

This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in a regular-length reach configuration.
