The HERTEL E8030028 is a 2-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from M7 high speed steel with a TiN (titanium nitride) finish, this tool provides extended wear life compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The cutter measures 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) in diameter with a 13/16 inch length of cut and a 3/8 inch shank diameter. Overall length is 2-1/2 inches. The 30-degree spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for light-to-moderate material removal in milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills.
