The HERTEL E7050016 is a cobalt square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking environments. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this double-end tool delivers extended tool life in harder workpiece materials compared to standard HSS tooling. It carries a TiCN (Titanium CarboNitride) coating to reduce friction and improve wear resistance at the cutting edge. The 30-degree spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. At 0.25 inches in diameter with a 0.5-inch length of cut, this mill is suited for slot milling, profiling, and plunge cuts where a centercutting geometry is required.

This end mill is a general-purpose tool for use in manual mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills running ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 0.375-inch shank diameter allows it to seat in standard ER or straight-shank collet toolholders. The double-end design provides two usable cutting ends, which extends service intervals on high-run production jobs. Installation Notes
