The HERTEL E7039026 is a 4-flute square end mill designed for milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Manufactured from high speed steel with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) finish, this tool delivers improved surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated HSS. The cutter measures 0.4063 inches (13/32 inches) in diameter with a 1-inch length of cut, a 3/8-inch shank diameter, and an overall length of 2-11/16 inches. A 30-degree helix angle and spiral flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation. The centercutting design allows plunge cutting directly into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for general-purpose milling, slotting, profiling, and plunge operations on a CNC machining center or manual knee mill. It is appropriate for shops running production work in steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials where a TiCN coating provides extended tool life.
