The HERTEL E6252012 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composite, and hard material applications. With a 3/16 inch diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, this tool delivers accurate profiling, contouring, and slot milling in tight geometries. The 4-flute configuration provides a balance of chip evacuation and surface finish quality. A titanium nitride (TiN) coating reduces friction and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The double-end design offers two usable cutting ends, increasing value per tool. At 2 inches overall length and a 3/16 inch shank diameter, it fits standard collet and end mill holders used in CNC and manual milling applications.
This end mill is suited for production and tool room environments where close-tolerance profiling and finish milling are required. It handles 3D contour work, die and mold finishing, and general-purpose slot milling in steel, aluminum, and similar materials. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional right-hand spindle setups found on vertical machining centers and manual knee mills. Machinists and tooling specialists working in job shops, maintenance operations, and production facilities will find this a versatile addition to their tool inventory.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide ball end mill for use in standard 3/16 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, and compatible toolholding systems on CNC and manual vertical milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Torque set screws or collet nuts to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cutting operation to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
