Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat resistance and edge retention in demanding cuts. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending tool life. Key dimensions include a 7/16 inch (0.4375 inch) cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 1/2 inch shank diameter with a 4-1/8 inch overall length. The 30-degree helix spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation. Centercutting capability allows plunge milling entry without a pre-drilled hole.
