The HERTEL E2040048 is a square-end, single-end cobalt end mill designed for milling ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials in machining centers and manual mills. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it handles heat and abrasion better than standard M2 tooling. The 3/4-inch cutting diameter pairs with a 3-inch length of cut, making this a long-series tool suited for reaching deep pockets and slots. Four spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle provide efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. Center-cutting geometry allows direct plunging without a pilot hole. The tool arrives uncoated and is ready to run with standard HSS cutting parameters.
