The HERTEL E2030012 is a cobalt square end mill designed for milling operations in ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat resistance and edge retention where standard HSS tools fall short. The cutting diameter is 0.1875 inches (3/16 inch) with a 7/16-inch length of cut, a 3/8-inch shank diameter, and an overall length of 2-5/16 inches. The 30-degree helix angle and spiral flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This is an uncoated, single-end tool sold individually and suited for manual mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers where cobalt tooling is specified.

This end mill is used in general-purpose milling applications including slotting, side milling, and profiling in steels, stainless, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The centercutting design allows plunge cuts as well as conventional milling passes. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional spindle rotation.
