The HERTEL E1053008 is a double-end square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, plastics, and composite materials. Built from M7 high speed steel, this uncoated tool features 4 spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle and a center-cutting geometry that allows plunge cutting as well as conventional side and slot milling. The 1/8 inch cutting diameter and 3/8 inch length of cut make it well suited for fine detail work, narrow slots, and profiling in die and mold applications. At 0.05 pounds, the tool is lightweight and fits standard collet and milling chuck setups with a 3/8 inch shank.
