Built from M7 high speed steel, this two-flute tool delivers reliable performance in slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. The 11/16 inch (0.6875 inch) cutting diameter pairs with a 1-5/16 inch length of cut, giving machinists adequate reach for most standard milling passes. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces chatter during cuts. Centercutting geometry allows the tool to plunge directly into workpiece material without a pre-drilled entry hole. This tool is sold uncoated and is well suited for ferrous and non-ferrous materials where HSS tooling is the specified standard.
