The HERTEL E103002401 is a single-end, two-flute square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Manufactured from M7 high speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it offers a 3/8 inch cutting diameter and a 9/16 inch length of cut. The 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. At 2-3/8 inches overall length with a 3/8 inch shank diameter, this tool fits standard ER and straight-shank collet holders used in vertical mills and machining centers. Center-cutting capability allows plunge milling in addition to peripheral cuts.

This end mill suits job shop and maintenance machining applications where standard material removal is required without specialty coatings. Typical uses include slotting, profiling, and face milling in mild steel, aluminum, brass, and similar workpiece materials.
