The HERTEL C430S5000-C4 is a single-end roughing end mill engineered for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride), it delivers the hardness and wear resistance required for production environments. The chipbreaker geometry along the flutes breaks chips into smaller segments, reducing heat buildup and cutting forces during heavy passes. At 0.5 inches in diameter with a 0.625-inch length of cut and 2.5-inch overall length, this tool fits standard toolholders and suits a wide range of roughing operations on machining centers and manual mills. Installation and use are performed by machinists and CNC operators.

This end mill is suited for roughing cuts on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where chip evacuation and tool life are the primary concerns. The TiCN coating improves surface hardness and reduces friction compared to uncoated carbide, making it effective in steels, stainless, and cast iron. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are the standard configuration for the majority of vertical and horizontal milling setups.
