The HERTEL 91192955 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, this tool delivers extended wear resistance and heat tolerance during heavy cutting. It features a 1-1/2 inch cutting diameter, 6 flutes with a coarse pitch, and a 3-inch length of cut. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction suit conventional and climb milling setups. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill on mills, machining centers, and CNC equipment where high stock removal rates are required.
This roughing end mill is suited for ferrous and non-ferrous materials in production and job-shop environments. The coarse-pitch flute geometry breaks chips aggressively, reducing heat buildup and tool deflection during deep passes. The 1-1/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER and side-lock holders commonly found on vertical and horizontal milling machines. Its center-cutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole, making it practical for pocketing and slotting operations.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from its holder.
