The HERTEL 91192625 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiAlN for heat and wear resistance, this tool handles tough ferrous materials at elevated cutting speeds. The coarse pitch flute geometry breaks up chips along the cutting edge, reducing vibration and cutting forces compared to standard end mills. At 3/8 inch diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut and 2.5 inch overall length, it fits standard tool holders used in vertical mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers. Machinists and toolroom operators use this type of end mill for roughing passes before finishing.

This end mill is suited for roughing operations in ferrous and difficult-to-machine alloys where chip control and tool life under heat are priorities.
