The HERTEL 87144713 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for high-material-removal-rate milling operations in ferrous and hard materials. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN coating, this tool handles interrupted cuts, tough alloys, and heavy roughing passes where standard HSS tooling falls short. It features a 7/8 inch cutting diameter, five flutes, and a right-hand cutting and flute direction. The 1.875 inch length of cut and 4.125 inch overall length make it well suited for standard-depth roughing applications on vertical mills, knee mills, and CNC machining centers.

This end mill is intended for roughing operations in job shops, maintenance machining environments, and production floor applications where stock removal speed is the priority over surface finish.
