The HERTEL 84511476 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a TiAlN coating, this tool handles elevated cutting temperatures and extends tool life in demanding milling operations. The coarse pitch flute geometry breaks chips into smaller segments, reducing cutting forces and allowing higher feed rates compared to standard finishing end mills. At 0.5 inches in diameter with a 0.5-inch length of cut and 2.5-inch overall length, this end mill fits standard milling chucks and collets used in vertical and horizontal machining centers.
