The HERTEL 83246330 is a straight-flute drill bit ground from solid C2 carbide and sized to wire gauge No. 34, equal to 0.1110 inches in diameter. It carries a 140-degree notched point with web thinning, a geometry that reduces thrust force and improves centering on entry. The bright, uncoated finish keeps tolerances tight and allows visual inspection of the cutting edge after each use. With a diameter tolerance of +0.0000 to -0.0005 inches, it holds the close fits required in precision drilling operations. Right-hand cutting direction, two flutes, and no coolant-through design make this a straightforward tool for solid-material applications in machining and fabrication environments.
This bit is suited to drilling chrome alloy, heat-treated alloy, nickel alloy, stainless steel, carbon steel, and titanium alloy workpieces. This bit is installed and serviced by machinists and tool room technicians.
