The HERTEL 75987636 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN coating, it handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials with improved heat and wear resistance. The 3/8 inch diameter, 4-flute configuration with a coarse pitch geometry breaks up chips along the cutting edge, reducing vibration and allowing higher feed rates than standard end mills. Center-cutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. Machinists and toolroom professionals use this style of end mill for roughing passes where cycle time and tool life are the priorities.
