The HERTEL 750756 is a square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from solid carbide with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish, it delivers hardness and surface lubricity suited to production and maintenance machining environments. The 3/32 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 3/16 inch length of cut and a 1/8 inch shank, making this a compact tool intended for fine-detail work, slotting, and peripheral milling in tight geometries. The 30-degree spiral helix and two-flute configuration promote efficient chip evacuation at the cutting edge. It is a centercutting design, allowing plunge entry. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.
This end mill is suited for light-duty milling operations including slotting, profiling, and contouring in small-scale workpieces or detailed cavity work. The compact diameter and short length of cut make it appropriate for applications where tool clearance is limited or where fine surface finish in a small feature is required. The right-hand cut orientation and spiral flute geometry are standard for conventional milling setups on vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills.
Designed as a standard straight-shank square end mill compatible with 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers, CNC routers, and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Secure the 1/8 inch shank firmly in a matching collet or end mill holder, torquing the retention hardware per the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or coating damage before each use, as solid carbide tools are brittle and sensitive to improper seating or lateral shock.
