The HERTEL 750673 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metal fabrication, tool-and-die, and general machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this two-flute end mill measures 3/8 inch in diameter with a 1-3/8 inch length of cut and a 2-1/2 inch overall length. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The uncoated finish makes it suitable for applications where coating is not required or where re-sharpening is anticipated. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this tooling.
This end mill fits standard 3/8 inch tool holders and collet chucks used in vertical machining centers, knee mills, and CNC milling machines. The extra-long length-of-cut classification allows access to deeper pockets and stepped features. The centercutting geometry enables direct plunge entry into workpiece material, making it useful for slot milling, profiling, and pocketing operations. Its right-hand cut orientation is standard for conventional milling setups.
Designed for use in standard 3/8 inch collet chucks and end mill holders on vertical machining centers and CNC mills with right-hand spindle rotation.
This end mill is installed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing tooling. Secure the shank fully within the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used if edge integrity is compromised.
