The HERTEL 750531 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in milling operations. It features a 3/16 inch cutting diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 2-1/2 inch overall length with a 3/16 inch shank diameter. The two-flute, 30-degree helix design promotes efficient chip evacuation, while the TiN (Titanium Nitride) finish improves surface hardness and wear resistance. The centercutting geometry allows plunge cuts as well as peripheral milling. This tool is used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for small-diameter milling tasks in shop environments handling ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its single-end configuration and spiral flute geometry make it appropriate for slotting, profiling, and contouring operations where tight tolerances and a clean square shoulder are required. The right-hand cut orientation is standard for conventional and climb milling setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide end mill for standard 3/16 inch collet or end mill holder setups on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware per the machine manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut.
