The HERTEL 750152 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch) cutting diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, this tool removes material cleanly in confined areas where larger tooling cannot reach. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle provides efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Centercutting capability allows the tool to plunge directly into the workpiece. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill on CNC machining centers and manual mills for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling in steel, aluminum, and similar workpiece materials.
This end mill suits light-duty material removal in tight geometries. The 1/8 inch shank fits standard collets and end mill holders common to benchtop mills and small-format CNC machines. The 1-1/2 inch overall length keeps the tool rigid and minimizes deflection at this small diameter. It is well suited for tool rooms, prototype shops, and production environments where fine-feature milling is required. The uncoated carbide substrate performs across a broad range of materials when run at appropriate speeds and feeds for the workpiece.
Designed as a replacement-style solid carbide square end mill for use in any machine spindle accepting a 1/8 inch round shank, including CNC machining centers, knee mills, and small-format vertical mills equipped with ER or TG collet systems.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists following standard tooling change procedures. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet or holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended engagement depth in the collet to prevent pullout under cutting load. At 0.1094 inch diameter, this tool is sensitive to runout — verify collet condition and holder concentricity before use to avoid premature breakage.
